Small-Space Living Room Refresh: Pieces That Actually Make a Difference

Small living rooms punish clutter fast — one wrong-sized piece and the whole room reads cramped instead of cozy. The fix usually isn't less furniture, it's smarter furniture: pieces that flex between jobs so you're not cramming in a coffee table, a side table, and a bookshelf when one well-chosen piece could cover two of those. The catch: 'modular' and 'small-space' get slapped on wildly different actual dimensions depending on the brand, so this is not a buy-on-the-thumbnail purchase — pull the specific module measurements and check them against your room before ordering, the same rule this list already applies to everything else here.
